I’ve recently uploaded to YouTube the recording of the Introverts Academy‘s webinar that focuses on the complementary innate strengths of introverts and extroverts, and why knowing them both can boost self-confidence.

Every time I talk (or I’m reminded) about this topic, I realize how much the world is missing by favouring one or the other. Because they both bring something valuable!

The Western world seems to appreciate more the extroverted behaviour, which leads to organizational cultures that perpetuate this trend. No wonder why the introverts feel like a fish out of water in this environment! On the other side, the Eastern world appreciates more the introversion. It looks like the entire world balances itself through a Yin-Yang process, although it’s not so visible at the individual and interpersonal levels.

What’s next?

I continue the webinar series Introvert Tools for Navigating Challenging Situations with the 5th webinar: Holistic Health – The Often Overlooked Components (April 17). There are nine webinars in this series, each of them introducing concepts related to one of the eight areas covered by the Introverts Academy Curriculum Wheel for individuals. The first webinar presented three strategies to get the most of these times, which can be used for any area of the wheel.

You didn’t hear me often talking about Holistic Health. However, it seems the right time to share how I used the third Holistic Health component – Spiritual Health – to help myself and my coaching clients improve our Physical and Mental Health. They’re all connected! The Spiritual component helped me heal my dislocated knee after a ski accident, after I refused the surgery suggested by an Emergency doctor. It also helped me heal faster from a burnout, in only ten months while it took 2-3 years to others.
Here’s what one of my clients said:

I suffered for years of agoraphobia (fear of open spaces) and consulted physiologists, but none helped me out. What happened in the first 30-minutes session with Gabriela is hard to believe, but is true: she helped me reach a state of calmness and peace that no physiologists did. Applying what I’ve learned in the following sessions – the correlation between thoughts and physical pain – helped me also to decrease the pain in my joints. ~ I.L.

Join us for this webinar on April 17 if you’d like to understand how to get or keep your health back on track. I’ll also share insights from my 14-years of daily meditation practice, the correlation with the coaching techniques I’ve developed, and I’ll answer questions at the end.

As you can imagine, focusing intensively on my new project (Introverts Academy) takes all my energy. Which is a good thing! 🙂 Not much time left to think about the pandemic, so I decrease the chances to let the negative news drain my energy.
