Two days ago, I’ve created a new meetup group to share with other members of the community my knowledge. I was planning to use my photo-coaching albums as starting point for the discussions. This could be my way of volunteering and giving back to the community via what I know best, I thought. The group was targeted to people who are shy, stressed or feel frustrated… and I really believe that they could get something from me (as a coach) facilitating such meetings. Today I’ve received an email that the meetup group was closed by the meetup website coordinator, considering that I want to promote my products and business, not building communities. I am ok with their decision, it allows me to focus on something else, even if I don’t agree with their reason for closing it!

I’m ready to send to the world my new photo-coaching album “Navigating the Relationship Landscape”. Since I didn’t celebrate any success of my coaching path since I’ve started my coaching business (2007), I’ve decided to make the product launch more festive! I’m looking to it as a celebration, and I’d love to see people coming to the product launch event on May 15. Beside a sneak preview of my new photo-coaching album, and some Relationship Systems concepts revealed, there will be a mini Laughing Yoga session (with an experienced instructor), light refreshments, and time to meet new people! In my opinion, this will be a fun event to be part of, even if it’s related to a product launch. I received another email, from someone asking with (what seemed to be) an irritant voice: “Do you also plan to sell your product? I might not come if you do.” Well, I think it is his choice whether he’ll come or not, or if he opens his wallet … or not. Whatever he chooses, I am ok.
I did my best to create a product that helps people with their relationships, and I’m happy with my decision to celebrate the launching of my new “baby”. 🙂

I loved what a colleague from Romania said when he invited us to his daughter wedding, in a near by village: “A wedding is made with people, not necessary with gifts”.

If you’d like details about the Product Launch Event, you can download the Flyer or RSVP on Eventbrite invitation. Know that you’re more than welcome, if you decide to join us on May 15!

Do you get triggered by other people opinions and decisions?
Or you’re ok, like me, and move on to what you consider more important?

Please share your thoughts!
