Before 2018 rushed out the door – to allow a full new year of experiences – I took a moment to reflect on what it meant to me. Did you? 🙂

It’s easier to just move on to the next task, the next day … and time passes by without realizing what we’ve got so far. And – even more important – if we’d like to make any adjustments!

Part of a big dream that started to unfold, 2018 surprised me with a long series of media interviews on national and local radio and TV (Radio Canada International, Choq FM, New Canadians TV), sometimes even more than once – most of them totally unexpected! I’ve also been interviewed on podcasts, newspapers, YouTube video series, and I had an article published on a blog with 70.000 followers. Oh, and I’ve published 6 new books last year, getting to a total of 11 in 18 months. It looks like the Universe opened a door for me in 2018!

Should I also mention that I’ve started again to design and facilitate workshops, after a two-year break following the burnout that affected my voice? I’m back … yeyyy! 🙂

If you think that my dream is about becoming a well-known public figure, you’re quite far from the truth. 🙂 I’ll probably be ok if that happens, as long as I can stay true to my introverted nature.

Let me give you a sneak peek into my big dream: I want to help millions of people through what I’m doing – especially introverts – without needing to be physically present or talk to all of them. And all this media buzz helped quite a bit: it opened up new opportunities, more people found my books, it allowed me to meet wonderful people along the way and to collaborate on meaningful projects.

A big THANK YOU to all those who are part of my life, including you! (since you’re reading this blog post, right? ) 🙂

Now I’m curious: What’s your big dream? How are you nurturing it day in and day out? Do you believe it will happen and take baby steps toward it?

No need to compare yourself or your dream with others’. As long as you make progress overall, you’re on your way!

I’m so far from many others who are ahead of me, but I don’t care. Although I had ups and downs, overall I noticed a positive trend. So I hang on my big dream when things get hard, that’s where my motivation comes from!

Are you aware of what motivates you, so you can reconnect with “it” when things get hard, or you seem to get stuck?

There’s only one way… forward … if you keep your eyes on your big dream and never give up! Even if that means to get into something totally different than what you’ve expected! 🙂

My burnout turned to be a tough heads-up call that opened my writing path (never imaged before). Looking from a higher perspective, I can see how writing fits my dream and matches even better what I want: having books out there can help me reach and help more people than I could do by myself. Then the media interviews added another layer of visibility and trust. So hanging on my big dream helped me find a way to accomplish it – even if that’s entirely different from how I envisioned it to be … at my level of understanding!

Now I trust the Universe even more! Do you?
“He” knows better what path is best for me to achieve my big dream!

Not sure if you wonder what I’m working on right now … but I’ll tell you anyway (can’t keep this just for myself): I’m writing a new book, which hopefully will be self-published this month Quiet Lessons for the Introvert’s Soul.

The thought of having this new book out brings me a lot of joy! I learned a lot from the 11 interviews with introverts featured in this book. These wonderful people took the time to share some of their biggest challenges with us, and how they were able to overcome them! Can’t wait to see people’s reaction to this book. It’s an eye-opener for those interested in finding more about introverts’ strengths, and how they can make their life easier! I bet that even extroverts will find it useful, to better understand the introverts from their life.

Wishing you a wonderful 2019! 🙂
